1. Description

      Hid TEMPer thermometer is a measurement device using USB port to connect to a computer or other machines. It can measure the temperature of the machine and the environment accurately. It must be connect to the computer to start working. Hid TEMPer can be use in computer room, weather, environment and special environment temperature testing.

4. Installing instruction

Software installing instruction: please go to our website to download the process

a) Uninstall the USB driver

b) Install dotnetfx.exe, if your computer system is Vista, may be you don’t need to install this process. Dotnetfx.exe is framework 2.0 of Microsoft, you can download it from the website of Microsoft;

c)  Decompress TEMPer.rar to you computer, and running TEMPer\TEMPer.exe.

Hardware installing:

Plug the thermometer into the USB port of the computer to connect it. If you plug it correctly the red light in the device will be turned on.

5.Operating instruction

a) Running TEMPer.exe, and plug the device into the computer then start to measure the temperature. See the picture below:

b) Read the real time temperature and record it down:

You can set the measuring mode of reading temperature to be Automate or by Hand handle, and set the reading interval. If it is Automate, the system will begin to read the temperature and record it down when you running the software and having the device connected to the computer; And if it is Hand handle, you must click the button to start reading temperature. The interval can set between 1 second to 100 second. Save the setting after you complete it , and the system will running according to you setting .

c) Loading the curve graph: You can load the curve graph on the “Curve” option part. Note, the device must be connecting to the computer to work, so the curve graph is the one about the real time temperature. And the function button can move, magnify, print, copy and save the curve graph.

d) Email:

Click the “Email” option to send email to your mailbox: In this option you can send the temperature records to your mailbox. Before to do this, you must set the server of the mailbox, the mail address of sender and receiver, user’s name and so on. And you also can set the sending conditions and interval in the option.

e) Setting

In the “setting” option you can transfer the deferent measuring units, and set a upper and lower limit, the reading interval and the language . Also you can calibrate the temperature here if there is some discrepancy between the real temperature and the reading records. Note, the reading interval is the speed of the device reading temperature, but the recording interval is to control the speed of recording the data to your computer.

To calibrate the temperature: When you first use the device or found the temperature is higher or lower than the actual temperature, you can calibrate it on setting option. For example, if the actual temperature is 26 degree centigrade, but the number that the device read is 28 degree centigrade, you should input -2 to the calibrate table ;If the actual temperature is 28 degree centigrade but the reading is 26 degree centigrade, so you should input 2, and then click the “save” button to save your setting.

f) Look over the data: You can reintroduce the data that have been saved before into the system and transfer them into the curve to contrast with the new data and analyze the differences.

 g)  Added Function: Observe and record the temperature through text window (e.g.: word, txt) Operating principle: Open the text window, the records of temperature is operated by the Scroll lock（5s/per&10s/per）.

Operating methods: Before using this function, please ensure the keyboard of Capslock and Numb Lock unlocked（that is the indicator turned off）. Press the Scroll lock, and you can change the rate of the temperature records, you will complete a conversion when the light turn on.

Attention: 

1. Please turn off the Input Method when you using the product.

2. The TEMPer support linux MAC and DOS.

3. +24.5Ch means +24.5 degrees, the reading interval is 5 seconds per.

4. +21.5Cl means+21.5degrees, and the reading interval is 10 seconds per.

Attention：

 i. Don’t use the product in too wet condition, if you need to measure the temperature of water, you can choose another product such as TEMPerNTC；if you want to measure the humility, you can choose TEMPerHUM；

 ii. Don’t measure over the temperature range of the environment or the material, so as not to affect the life span of equipment. For measurement of high-temperature options, please use USB Thermocouple THJ1000 (temperature range of 0 ~ 1000C); Do not use a long USB extension cable, so as not to lead to temperature errors. For an appropriate extension of the use of high-quality USB 2.0 extension cable to extend through HUB.

iii. If you want to connect more than one computer TEMPer temperature, please insert a device to run a window, and then insert the second, and so on.
