Installation
guide for TEMPer serials
Attention: Before installing the driver, do not plug the TEMPer device into the USB port!
1. Insert the driver CD into CDROM and install the USB driver.
2. install device app program. Note that the app works under .Net Framework, so in order to make the app work, please install .Net Framework first. It can be found in the CD or Microsoft webpage.
When the device is inserted into a free USB port for the first time, you should hear the “XP Found Hardware” sound and see the “Found New Hardware” dialog, as showed below:

If it doesn’t happen, remove the device and try again. If the problem still exists, it’s possible that there is something wrong with the USB port, the cable or TEMPer device.
When the equipment conflicts, you will hear an alarm sound:
Check out the device manager

You will find some device, with an icon having a yellow sign”?” or “!” or “X”;
Select the device and press Delete on the keyboard, the device will be uninstalled.
If you hear a sound indicates a Hardware failure:
1. Pull out the device and plug it into another USB port.
2. Click Start, Run, enter command “devmgnt.msc”, which will open the device manager window:

3. Click the menu View-Show hidden devices

Now you can see some device with a gray icon.

4. Uninstall hidden devices
5. Plug the device and try again.
6. If the problem still exists, uninstall the driver program, and reinstall.
7. Still won’t work? Try another PC please...
Installing .Net framework

Select the driver directory.

Install

Click Continue Anyway

If you have already installed the driver, then you can find the device files in windows/system32/ or Windows/system32/drivers/:
